Nature Center

The Bowie Nature Center is a welcoming place to begin your visit, get to know the park, and discover something new. Stop in for a trail map, explore the exhibits, meet the center’s animals, or pick up a program guide before heading outdoors.

Inside, nature displays and a hands-on Discovery Room invite visitors of all ages to take a closer look at the natural world. The center also houses the Bowie Museum, sponsored by the Friends of Bowie Nature Park, where the story of the Bowie family and their gift to Fairview comes to life.

Whether you’re exploring with children, joining a nature program, or stopping by before a walk, the Nature Center offers a chance to connect more deeply with the land and the people who helped preserve it.
