Fishing at Bowie
Enjoy the water while helping care for the park and its wildlife.
Know where to fish.
Fishing is allowed in the lakes, except where signs prohibit it.
Follow posted restrictions.
Check your license
Have a valid TN fishing license unless exempt, and follow current TWRA regulations.
Keep young anglers close
Children under 12 must have adult supervision while fishing
Leave no line behind
Remove discarded fishing line, hooks, and litter. Loose line can injure wildlife.
Beautiful waters. Shared responsibility.
Leave shoreline plants undisturbed, give wildlife space, and take your trash with you. Swimming is prohibited and boating requires written permission from the Parks Department.
Enjoy nature gently. Stay on marked trails, leaves plants in place, and give wildlife room.
